Ultra Spectrum Oil is manufactured from premium quality hydro-treated base oils. It has good oxidation stability, low carbon-forming tendencies, and natural detergent properties.

Used in low speed crosshead engines and in certain older trunk-piston engines. Now superseded to a considerable extent by additive-type oils in these applications. May also be used for reciprocating and vane type air compressors with low air discharge temperatures (up to 100oC) where straight oils are suitable.
