When you buy additives and add these to Ultra’s premium lubricant formulations, it upsets the balance of the additive package. This may lead to inferior oil performance and potential engine problems.

Some additives impart new and useful properties to the lubricant, some enhance properties already present, while some act to reduce the rate at which undesirable changes take place in the product during its service life. Ultra Lubricants use additives packages from multinational suppliers; these additives include detergents, dispersants, anti-wear agents, anti-foam agents, viscosity index (VI) improvers and rust and corrosion inhibitors to ensure our lubricants are blended to cover your engine’s needs under the harshest conditions.

Oil additives are not recommended as long as you are following the manufacturer’s recommendation for oil usage.
